Writing in the Romantic: A workshop dedicated to Gothic/Romantic writing.

If you've ever envied Mary Shelley's vivid details, Emily Bronte's haughty atmospheres, or the pacing of Poe as he draws us slowly, inevitably deeper into terror... then you'll love this workshop!

Style is practice and perspective. We'll start the workshop with a reading from one of many masters in the style, which we'll discuss and break down into its individual components. Then we'll practice writing our own Gothic pieces, which we'll all have the opportunity to share and receive feedback on.
